Born on September 30, 1936, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, John attended Manual Training High School and later served his country as a United States Army veteran.
Above all else, John’s life was defined by his devotion to his family. He found his greatest joy in time spent with loved ones—whether gathered together for milestones, sharing everyday moments, or simply being present for those he cared about most. His home was always centered on family, and his love and guidance will be felt for generations to come.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Nellie “Nettie” Trezza (née Persico); his son, John Salvatore Trezza, and daughter-in-law, Sheri Trezza (née LaPastina); his son-in-law, Eric O’Keefe; and his four cherished grandchildren: Meghan Ryan O’Keefe Clyne and her husband, Ryan Clyne, Brandon Eric O’Keefe, John Salvatore Trezza, and Anthony Cyprian Trezza.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Donna Marie Trezza O’Keefe; his brother, Frank Trezza; and his loving parents, Mary and Salvatore “Toto” Trezza.
John will be remembered for the love he shared, the family he built, and the countless moments of togetherness that defined his life.
