

Born in New Brighton, she also lived in Manhattan and Queens, before moving to South Salem, N.Y., in 1977. She returned to Staten Island in 1997, and has lived in Port Richmond for the past five years.
Mrs. Mayo was a legal secretary for several different Manhattan law firms. She also worked for her family commercial photography business, Brennan Photo in Mount Kisco, N.Y., for 20 years, retiring about 18 years ago.
She enjoyed shopping. "She really was a very, very kind, giving person,'' said her former husband, Jack Brennan. "She was generous to a fault. She had a hearty laugh and she was a very good listener. She really paid attention.''
In addition to her former husband, Jack Brennan, she is also survived by her sons, Gregory and Glenn Brennan; a daughter, Heather Jones; her sisters, Dolores Johnson, Irene Zackaroff, Sandra Caruso and Patricia Saliski, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey Funeral Home, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's R.C. Church, both Castleton Corners. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
