Madeline V. White

Madeline White Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, 89 Madeline White passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the age of 89. Madeline was born in Brooklyn and lived in Westerleigh since 1968. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph White; her daughter, Karen and son-in-law, Andrew Terjesen; son, Joseph, and grandsons, Joseph and Collin. Her career with Women's Wear Daily as Head of the Reader's Department ended in the 1960's when she dedicated herself to home and family. With her children raised she took a job in sales with J.C. Penney. Madeline retired in 1992 and spent the rest of her life enjoying home, family, friends and travel. Her unselfish, kind and giving nature will be remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 30, from 4 - 8 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Avenue, Staten island, 10314 (718) 447 - 4242. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 1st, at St. Teresa Church, Victory Blvd., followed by Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
