

Margaret Davis or Marge was born on November 11, 1925, and passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 100. She was born on Staten Island to parents William and Ann Skinner of Great Kills and lived in Staten Island all her life. A graduate of the original New Dorp High School, she married Harry Davis II and eventually moved to her long-time home of Eltingville.
A devoted mother of Alan and Harry, Margaret was a homemaker that enjoyed baking, bowling, traveling, riding bicycles with her husband and sharing time with friends and family. She was a long-time contributor to many charities including the World Wildlife Federation and various Veterans Charities. She was a long-time active member of Christ Lutheran Church. She and her husband also were part of a walking group that met in the mornings at the Staten Island Mall.
Margaret is survived by her son, Harry Davis III and his wife Carolyn, two grandchildren, Jennifer McKeown and John Davis, and five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Raine, Kathryn, Hunter and Samantha. She had so much love for her family and it brought her great joy to see and spend time with them, talking, playing games and sharing family meals. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, located at 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, on December 22, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, 121 Cleveland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308, on December 23, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am.
The committal service will be held at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306, on December 23, 2025, immediately following the funeral.
To honor Margaret’s memory, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the World Wildlife Federation.
