Her greatest joy was found in her three children, Dennis, Donna, and Jenalyn, and her six grandchildren, Derek, Leanna, Ellie, Madison, DJ and Amelia. She loves spending time with them. She was a constant, caring presence in their lives, always attending their important events and functions. Her family was the foundation of her world, and she was the steady, loving force that brought everyone together.
She had great love for life’s simple pleasures and especially loved to eat, with seafood buffets being her absolute favorite. Many of her happiest times were spent with her husband and family, enjoying a long meal and a good laugh around the table full of food. She also had a deep love for music and entertainment. She would take occasional trips to Atlantic City with her husband to catch a performance of her favorite bands, such as Journey.
A dedicated professional, she also enjoyed a meaningful career as a nurse at Wycoff Heights Medical Center, where her naturally caring spirit was felt by all who crossed her path. She also made lasting friendships and enjoyed coming to work.
May fought a long and brave battle with cancer. She continued to fight till her last breath. She is survived by her husband, Jaime, and her children and grandchildren.
