

Nicholas Beza passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Eger Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Brooklyn, NY where he spent most of his life until recently relocating to Staten Island. Nicholas retired after 22 years as a Traffic Enforcement Agent with the NYC Police Department. He was also a 9/11 responder who spent months towing cars from Ground Zero and was proud to serve in that capacity. Nicholas was an avid fisherman and sports fan. He loved the Brooklyn Dodgers, was heartbroken when they left NY, and he was a lifelong Mets fan. He also had a passion for music and motorcycles. Nicholas was a fun, likable man and the life of the party.
Nicholas was predeceased by his loving wife Joan, sister Ida Albano and stepson Butch Cino. He is survived by his two loving children; Louis Beza and Michele Harris and her husband Daniel and his cherished grandchildren Matthew, Danielle and James Harris. Nicholas also leaves a brother August Beza and stepdaughters MaryAnn and Florence Cino and their children and numerous nieces and nephews.
A religious ceremony for Nicholas will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 1634 Victory Blvd, New York, NY 10314.
Following the religious ceremony will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
