Nicholas Ochlan

Nicholas Ochlan Jr., 55 Financial advisor, dear son, father, brother, and uncle Nicholas Ochlan Jr., 55, of Castleton Corners, S.I., N.Y., died March 24, 2016, at home. Born July 20, 1960, Nicholas attended St. Teresa's, Susan Wagner High School, and DeVry University, where he earned an associate's degree. Nicholas enjoyed sports, music, fitness, travel, and spending time with family and friends. He was a financial advisor at The Legend Group and was also an admired athletic coach. He is survived by his children, Nicole and Melissa, and their mother, Jan; parents, Nicholas Sr. and Patricia; siblings, Lorraine Fugazzi (Richard), Raymond Ochlan, Allison (Peter) Mauro; nieces and nephews, Jessica and Lauren Mauro, Matthew Hallihan, and Oliver Ochlan. Visitation is Monday, March 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church, 1634 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, N.Y. 10314. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Teresa School would be appreciated.
