Robert E. Codd

Robert E Codd was born in the Westerleigh section of Staten Island October 1948. He attended St. Teresa's, PS 29, IS27 and McKee Vocational and Technical High School. He enlisted with the US Air Force after graduation. While serving he was stationed in Thailand, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Maine Air National Guard. Robert retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service Following his retirement in 1991 he returned to his childhood home in Staten Island. Later that same year he was married to his high school sweetheart, Trudy Pearce DAgostino, Together, they served in multiple United Methodist churches including St. Marks UMC in Staten Island, Verbank UMC in Duchess County and finally Pleasant Valley UMC in Connecticut.

Robert passed away at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home in Connecticut February 24, 2017.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Erin Jachimiak of Colorado and Katie Ann Codd of Maine.
