

Thomas E. Considine, 68 A loving, devoted family man Thomas E. Considine, 68, a native of East Flatbush, Brooklyn, and longtime resident of Grant City, passed away peacefully Saturday evening at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Parente) for 44 years, 8 months and 15 days; son of Sarah (nee Angiolino) Considine and the late Francis Considine. He was a 1964 graduate of Midwood High School. Following graduation in 1964, Thomas began working for Seaboard World Airlines at John F. Kennedy International Airport, then went on to Flying Tigers and ultimately retired from FedEx after more than 40 years of distinguished service to those companies. After his retirement in 2013, Thomas and Barbara relocated to Mountainside, N.J. Thomas deeply loved all of the time he spent with his children, Crissy and Tommy, never missing a special occasion or sporting event. He later cherished precious time with his seven-year-old granddaughter, Ally. He was also a lover of classic cars, movies, body building, baseball and The Beatles. He will always be remembered for his kind, generous heart and warm smile. Thomas was also predeceased by his brother, Bobby, and is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his mother, Sarah; daughter, Crissy; son, Tommy; granddaughter, Ally; son-in-law, Jarad; brothers, Vincent and Frankie; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
