Some of my favorite memories from my childhood include visiting my Uncle with my sister and Mother. He was so full of life and always knew how to make people laugh. I think about you often Uncle Chips and I miss you very much. I'll always think of you when walking through Clove Lakes and will tell my kids one day of the stories and and adventures we had there.

Dear Danielle and Alana-  
My sincere condolences on the loss of your Uncle Chip.   I know he’s happy being reunited with your mom Charlotte and his Petey.  I’m glad that he’s at peace.  I’d run into him in the Met every now and then and we’d catch up on things.  He was finally finding his happiness and it was great to hear that in his voice.   I’m glad he found and had Ida in his life.   I know he loved you both and Danielle’s children with all his heart.   I’ll always remember him fondly for the laughs we had both at work and when we’d run into each other after retirement.

To this world:
Chip was the much loved Mayor of our neighborhood. He cared for each of us as if we were his family. To anyone who wasn’t lucky enough to know him, Chip was a man who would dog sit for a neighbor because their puppy was lonely. A man who would stop and carry groceries because your arms looked too full. He would go for walks with you just to talk because you had a bad day. He lived a later life of giving as a church usher, choir member, religious counselor, scripture researcher and neighborhood snow shoveler. This man had a pure wonderful spirit. The only Peace to be found in his passing is knowing that Chip and Petey will be together again in Heaven.

Hi I am chips neighbor for many years, i’m so sad to hear of his passing. He was such a wonderful, kind man who always walked the neighborhood with a smile on his face and a friendly hello. I will truly miss him! What wonderful neighbor. I know he was having a very hard time in the end, may you be in heaven with Jesus and may you rest in the most peaceful peace.

My condolences to the family of Warrior  May  God continue to bless all.  I had the privilege of of working with Warren in September 2023- 2024 June, he was an awesome guy , sadly miss , my heart goes out to the family.(  Danielle be strong . Much 💕 love. Velona

Chips was a good friend of my brother, Raymond Smith. He always treated me well(older brother's friends didn't always acknowledge you). Now they can carry on again on the other side. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Loved you my dear cousin. We met later in life but immediately connected. Our time together was too short for this life, but will stay with me.
Rest now, Chip. You’re home. 🙏🏻💜

Chips was a great friend from a long time ago.
