Born on February 14th 1947 in Puerto Rico, Wilson was the son of the late Pedro and Angela Lopez. At the age of 18, Wilson moved to Brooklyn, New York and would soon meet the woman whom he would share the next 58 years of his life with; his beautiful wife Felicita whom he is survived by, and together they would raise their family.
Wilson wore many hats, both figuratively and literally, but his favorite was being a father to his 3 children whom he loved with his whole heart; Olga (Andrew), Wilson Jr.(Arelis), and Pedro Lee. But his love for his family did not stop there, he was also blessed with 5 grandchildren who he adored and was so Incredibly proud of; Andrew II, Sharon, Emily, Allison, and Wilson.
Wilson was the embodiment of a family man, he loved his wife and children with every ounce of his being and never hesitated to drop anything and everything when one of them needed him. Whether it was teaching his grandchildren to tie their shoes, talking his long walks to Manhattan or getting underneath a car and coming out from under it covered in grease; he did it all and with a smile on his face.
Wilson was an avid Mets fan, win or lose, you’d always be able to find him watching the game from the best seat in the house, the couch as he would say.
To say he will be dearly missed would be an understatement, and although he is no longer with us, a little piece of him lives in all of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
