Billie Faye Bird, age 81, died Wednesday at Heritage Inn Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and worked in the accounting field for many years. Miss Bird was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Bernice Bird, five brothers, Andrew Bird, Walter Bird, Edward Bird, Frank Bird, and Jimmy Bird, and her sister, Jeanette Deal.
Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law, Jerry and Janell Bird of Orlando, FL, and Paula Bird of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
