Brandi Lynn Young Vallin

Brandi was born in Statesboro, where she lived most of her life. She was a 2015 graduate of Metter High School and was currently a student at Ogeechee Technical College, where she was studying Crime Scene Investigation. She was a member of Merrywood Baptist Church and most recently attended Long branch Church of God. Brandi enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud bogging and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Brandi enjoyed life and always had a smile on her face and was very outspoken on topics that she was passionate about. She spent many years on the pageant circuit and won many trophies and awards and will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and kind ways.

Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Carolyn Quinot; paternal grandfather, Richard Burnsed and her aunt, Michelle McKuhen.

Brandi is survived by her husband, Geronimo Vallin of Claxton; mother, Patasha Lynn Young (Timmy Walls) of Millen; father, Craig Young, Jr. of Statesboro; step-father, Raymond Warren of Ellabell; brothers, Mitchell Young (Kaylee Hodges) of Statesboro; Tyler Young and Justin Young of Millen; sister, Destini Young of Millen; step-sisters, Brittany Warren and Ashley Warren of Metter; step-brother, Dylan Warren of Metter; paternal grandmother, Barbara Burnsed of Statesboro; paternal grandfather, Earl Young, Sr. of Lake Wales, FL; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Drew (Daniel) of Statesboro; maternal grandfather, Steven Maxwell of Virginia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Ana Vallin of Claxton; sister-in-law, Linda Vallin of Claxton; aunts, Patrina Maxwell of Effingham County; Mendy McKuhen (Ricky) of Effingham County; Missy Burnsed of Statesboro; uncles, Brian Porter of Port Wentworth and Steven Maxwell of West Virginia; many cousins also survive.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Rusty Manning officiating.

Burial will follow in Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
