

Mr. Clinton Murray, age 86, died Monday at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. He was a longtime resident of Bulloch County and retired from Hunter Army Airfield after many years of service. Mr. Murray was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was a longtime member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed farming, planting flowers and fishing. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Cribbs Murray; and his son, Alton Murray.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Murray of Brooklet; one daughter, Glennis Murray Jackson of Brooklet; two grandchildren, Lee (Jennifer) Jackson of Brooklet and Beth (Larry) Gunderman of Wisconsin; three great-grandchildren, Will Jackson, Lawrence Gunderman and Randall Gunderman; stepdaughter, Shirley (Bobby) Howard of Bloomingdale; two stepsons, Randy (Sherry) Parker of Richmond Hill and Jerry Parker of Eutawvile, S.C.; three step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Reland Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Old Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
