Daniel Danny Taylor Lingo

Danny was a native and lifelong resident of Statesboro and was a graduate of Statesboro High School. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a retired crane operator from Grinnell Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Grace Oliff Lingo and his wife, Marie Spence Lingo.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Skye Lingo Mercer (Larry D), Statesboro; Dawne Lingo (Andrea Moore), Port St. Lucie, FL and Becky M. Allen, Statesboro, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, I.W. and Virginia Spence, Portal, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha Sue and Howard Davis, Spring Lake, NC, brother-in-law, Harold Barber, Atlanta, 4 grandchildren, Nicole Williams (Markeith), Chad Allen, Mackenzie Mercer and Olivia Mercer, 3 great grandchildren, Journi Rodriguez, Zoey Williams and Riley Jade Williams, extended family, Gary and Cynthia Allen, Shonda and Ralph Harris, Josh Allen, Marissa Allen and Kennedy Allen, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, November 11, 2013 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Mary Frances Lee and Reverend Bill Eller officiating.

Entombment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Keith Sapp, Harvey Jackson, Timmy Wilson, Tim Wilson, Johnny Melvin and Victor Mercer.
