Mr. Donald Roberts Brown

Mr. Donald Roberts Brown, age 84, died early Friday at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County. He graduated from Stilson school and loved playing basketball. Mr. Brown farmed for many years and also worked as a rural mail carrier. He was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church, loved to fish, spend time with his family, and was loved by all.

Survivors include his wife of sixty two years, Hazel Williams Brown of Stilson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn (Jerry) Williams of Stilson, Faye (Joe) Hulst of Brooklet, Brenda (Bill) Schrepel of Stilson, and Becky (Gary) Futch of Statesboro; nine grandchildren, Donnie (Jennifer) Williams, Luke (Jennifer) Williams, Sara (Chris) Peisher, Allison (Reggie) Beasley, Kathryn (Scott) Newman, Eric (Jennifer) Schrepel, David Schrepel, Brooke (Lee) McGill, and Leslie Hastings; ten great grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Olive Ann Groover of Stilson, Carol Shepherd of Michigan, and Barbara (Paul) Forehand of Stilson.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until 3:30 P.M. at the Brown residence in Stilson.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Old Fellowship Baptist Church with Dr. Reland Morgan and Dr. John Parker officiating.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
