

Elizabeth Ann Lanier Aspinwall passed away the evening of Tuesday, February 14 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Garden City Baptist Church and also attended Trinity Baptist in Nevils, Georgia. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents Aden and Eliza Lanier, husband, Charles C. Aspinwall, two brothers, Alvin Lanier and Inman Lanier, and her sister, Betty Lanier.
Survivors include her sister Helen Ambrose, brother, HB Lanier (Doris),
daughters, Cheryl A. Drury and Lisa Marie Aspinwall, her kitty cats, Oliver, Lacy & Cookie, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to acknowledge the special care given to Elizabeth by her caregivers, Teresa Robertson and Shelby Jean Pierce. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Alona, from Ogeechee Area Hospice, who supported us in the last few hours of Elizabeth's life.
Pallbearers will be Don Lanier, Duane Screws, Chris Casebeer, Wesley Aspinwall, Steve Olliff, and Matthew Olliff. Honorary pall bearers will be David Aspinwall and Tom Deal.
Visitation is scheduled at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home in Statesboro on Saturday, February 18 at 2:00. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 in the chapel at the funeral home with Reverend Joe Eason officiating. The burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
