Jere W. Ginn was born on September 19, 1949 in Statesboro, Georgia. After graduating from Carlisle Military Academy and Brewton Parker College, he spent time in Oklahoma and Washington State in the service of his country. He went on to run the Ginn Company along with his brother from the early 70’s through the present. He was a member of First Baptist Church Statesboro. Jere had a passion for fast cars, fast music, and loved being at the center of his son’s band activities. He was a loving husband of more than thirty eight years, and a wonderful and generous father. No one who ever had the privilege of meeting Jere, will ever forget him. At his home, on the morning of December 17, 2014, he went to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.E. Ginn and Margaret Denmark Ginn.
