

Jimmy W. “John” Lott, Jr., age 37, died Sunday afternoon at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Johnstown, Penn. and moved to Statesboro in 1979. John was loved by everyone that he came in contact with and enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends. He graduated from Statesboro High School in 1995 and very much enjoyed participating in weight lifting with Coach Jack Webb. John also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football & baseball games and NASCAR racing. He was a member of Bona Bella Baptist Church in Savannah.
Survivors are his mother Deborah Ann Lott of Statesboro; sister Tracy Cowart of Statesboro; Half-sister Gina Cooper of Statesboro; Grandmother Betty Demers of Metter; 2 nieces Maraina Cooper and Elizabeth Lott of Statesboro; 3 nephews Cody Cowart, Andrew Lott and Blake Cooper all of Statesboro; 2 Aunts Donna (Steve) Cobb of Greenville, Ind. and Theresa (David) O’Neal of N.C.; 1 Uncle Dennis Lott of Savannah, Ga.
Special close friends, Justin & Danielle Gawthrop, Laura Waters, James Warren, Cathy Dixon, Patricia Cartee, Elizabeth Byrd and Leah Williams. A special thanks to the Bulloch County Home Health Care Nurses and Aides.
