Joyce Ann Howell

Mrs. Howell was a native and lifelong resident of Statesboro and was a 1964 graduate of Statesboro High School. She was a member of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies’ Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. and Evelyn Wilson, her husband, David Howell, Sr. and her sister, Angie Winskie.

Mrs. Howell is survived by her sons, David Howell, Jr. and his wife Nancy and Chris Howell and his wife, Kim all of Statesboro; 3 grandchildren, Will and Wynn Howell and Kearstan McKinney; special friend, Gladys Brown and caregivers, Annie Jackson, India Cone and Phyllis Southward.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2014 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2014 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder R Keith Hamilton officiating.

Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Deacons and Brotherhood Members of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
