

Kadi Denise Hodges Shuman, age 19, passed away at her residence Saturday surrounded by her family and under the care of Islands Hospice. She was a graduate of the Southeast Bulloch High School class of 2010. She was a very loving young lady who enjoyed making people happy. She loved her animals enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Josh Shuman; her parents, Dennis Hodges, Sr. and Connie Covington Hodges; two brothers, Teryn Jackson and Dennis “D.J.” Hodges, Jr , all of Pembroke; her maternal grandmother, Phyllis Covington of Ellabell, maternal grandfather, Jessie Covington of Metter; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Hodges of Pembroke.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 6:00 until 8:30 PM at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be in Lower Black Creek Cemetery in Bryan County.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Kadi’s 2010 graduating class of Southeast Bulloch High School and her teachers.
