Mrs. Margaret Ann Futch

Mrs. Margaret Ann Futch, age 83, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility with family by her side. She lived the majority of her life in Bulloch County. Mrs. Futch enjoyed sewing, quilting, riding on her golf cart, and mowing her lawn. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved to take care of others and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Futch was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles Stanley Futch; parents, D.B. and Annie Edmunds; sisters, Bonnell Benton and Linda Faye Deloach, and brother, Carlton Edmunds.

She is survived by a son, Gregory Futch,(Annie), daughter, Theresa Hackle (Allen); grandchildren, Sam Futch (Cate), John Isaac Futch, Kelena Futch, Benjamin Futch, Solomon Futch, Kyle Mitchell, Justin Mitchell and Adrian Mitchell; sister, Eleanor Williams; brother, George Edmunds, and many close extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, from 6-8 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 10th at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Harrison Huxford officiating.

Interment will be in the Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Isaac Futch, Samuel Futch, Ronald Williams, Peter Adair, Michael Strozzo and Benjamin Futch.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531 , Statesboro, Ga. 30459.
