Marie E. Morris

Mrs. Marie E. Morris, age 86, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. She was born in Bulloch County and worked as a waitress and bookkeeper for many years. Mrs. Morris was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grady Ray Nasworthy, Ernest Marsh, and Rozier Morris; two brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Jesse Pomeroy of Metter; four grandsons, Stephen Pomeroy of Metter, Michael (Debbie) Kennedy of Rock Hill, SC, Craig (Sandy) Kennedy of Stilson, and Neal (Shannon) Throne of Farmville, NC; seven great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Murray (Jasper Blackburn), Louise (James) Rigdon, and Catherine (Mack) Lynn; her aunt, Stella Donahue of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, 5000 Brunswick Hwy., Waycross, Ga. 31503 at 3:00 P.M. in Waycross, Ga.
