Patricia Tanksley

Patricia McAllister Tanksley, 75, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA.

Patricia was born in Athens, GA where she attended local schools. She attended Athens Technical School and graduated as a cosmetologist. She was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Eugene and Clyde Eleanor McAllister and her daughter, Robin Tanksley.

Patricia is survived by her son, Matthew Tanksley of Brooklet; brother, Franklin “Bo” McAllister of Athens; sister, Nell McAllister McDonald of Watkinsville; granddaughter, Hailey Cheyenne Stewart of Hull and her former husband, Lewis Tanksley of Brooklet; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Reland Morgan officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
