Robert James Blanchette

Mr. Robert James Blanchette, age 61, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. Mr. Blanchette, an electrician by trade, passionately enjoyed hunting, and fishing in the Ogeechee River. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, C. Mel and Martha Boatman, father, Robert J. Blanchette, and brother, Allen J. Blanchette.

Survivors include sisters, Sherice Blanchette, Statesboro, Sherry (Tom) Goodwin, Canton, CT, Sheila (Bob) Roach, Austin, TX, Shea (Tom) Walsh, Richmond Hill, GA, Shelda (Steve) Baumann, Chuluota, FL, Joyce Joiner , Statesboro, Carol Osweiler, Williamsburg, VA; brother, Larry (Pam) Boatman, Jupiter, FL; cousin, Tonya (Claude) Pierce, Brooklet, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday evening 5-6:30 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

A private Committal service will be held at a future date.
