

Born in Iredell County on January 21, 1933, he was the son of the late Bernie Reid Feimster “Ike” and Mary Lou Jurney Feimster “Pat”.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Lou Winters.
Bill worked in the maintenance department with the Iredell-Statesville Schools for 10 years. Prior to that, he had been employed with Union Grove Milling and G & M Milling.
He served in the United States Army from 1954-1956, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Olin #226.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Claudette Howard Feimster; son, Rodney Steve Feimster and wife Candy of Booneville; daughter, Paula Gilbert and husband Mike of Olin; six grandchildren, Colt, Chance, Amber, Autumn, Michael and Jessica and one great-grandson, Kadyen.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Olin Cemetery. The family will speak to friends following. In the event of inclement weather, the service will then be held in the church sanctuary located at 653 Olin Loop Road Olin, NC 28660.
