Isabel Morrison Kesler

She was born December 11, 1927, in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Roy Reese and Effie Pearl Massey Morrison. She was a member of New Sterling ARP Church and retired from Southern Bell. She enjoyed making cakes, embroidering and watching baseball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ralph Kesler; five sister, Pauline Pope, Lucille Waugh, Katy Pope, Phyllis Mayberry and Frances Morrison; and four brothers, Ross Morrison, Joe Morrison, Clinton Henry Morrison, and Bill Morrison; and a nephew, Stephen Pope.

She is survived by two nieces, Cynthia Trivette and Lelia Pope; two nephews, John H. Pope, and Phil Pope; and four great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie and Stevie Pope, Stephanie Rash and Sherry Boggs.

Funeral service celebrating Isabel’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 1, 2014, in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Cleveland.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM this evening (Thursday, October 30) at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
