James "Jamie" Michael Johnson

James Michael Johnson, Known as Jamie, 39, of Olin, left this world without warning on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Jamie was a free-spirit born on January 28, 1973 whose perpetual smile guided him throughout his life. He spent his days concerned only with fish, four -wheelers, friends and family. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School and the cherished son of Mark and Susan Johnson, both surviving, and a grandson of Nellie Ruth and Arthur Johnson and Jack and Lois Feimster, all deceased. Also surviving are his sisters, Amy Lambert (Galen Shumaker) and Jeanna Gatton (Doug) who always called their brother, Angel, a niece, Karlee Lambert and nephews: Kaleb Lambert, Jacob Gatton, Charlie Gatton and special aunt Jayne and uncle Emmett Head along with Jamie's special friend, Carrie Kopilchak and her children, Lindsey and Jacob.

Services celebrating Jamie's life will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Union Grove Christian Church with Rev. Allen Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Roger Sharpe, Eric Hartness, Jody Johnson, Justin Head, Scottie Gaither and Joey Farris. Honorary pallbearers will be: Al Jones, Todd Redmond, Lee Thomas and Chad Stroud. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the commital service.
