Born in Williamson, West Virginia on September 26, 1957, he was the son of Julius Blankenship and Thelma Delores Hendricks Blankenship.
He was a self employed mechanic.
He leaves behind sons, Jason, Julian Jr. and Steven as well as sisters, brothers and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held in West Viriginia at a later date.
