

He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, an avid golfer and enjoyed making and repairing golf clubs. He also enjoyed bowling and traveling to bowling tournaments.
Jimmie was a parts manager for many years for Black Pontiac and Cannon Motors.
Surviving is his wife Joann Wilson, two daughters, Teresa Johnson and Jeannie Parkinson, stepsons, Bobby Stone (Loretta) and Terry Stone (Marlene). Also surviving is a brother Lonnie Wilson (Dottie), three sisters, Shirley Sharpe, Shelby Compton (Joe), Louise Cook, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services celebrating his life are scheduled for Wednesday, November 28th, at 2 p.m. in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with full military rites accorded at the graveside. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
