Margie Louise Peacock

She was born September 19, 1931 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Maud Swicegood. She attended Cool Springs High School. On December 22, 1957 she married her husband Hollis Peacock. She was a member of Society Baptist Church and worked at Jantzen of Statesville for 14 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Peacock. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mae S. Deal, Helen G. Graham, Thelma S. Swicegood and Betty Jo Anderson and two brothers, Otis Swicegood and Marvin Swicegood.

She is survived by two sisters, Peggy Redmon and Nellie Austin, both of Statesville. She is also survived by close friend and traveling companion Marie Prather. She also traveled much with her niece Debbie Triplett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 3:00pm at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Mike Barnette officiating.
