Nancy S. Myers

She was born October 23, 1934, in Rockingham County, and was the daughter of the late George Coleman and Sallie Daniel Setliff. She was a homemaker and a farmer and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Drury Setliff; and three sisters, Charlotte Ellington, Barbara Adams and Billie French.

On July 28, 1951, she married Harry W. Myers, Jr., who survives. Also surviving is a son, Harry Myers III (Dena) of Statesville; four daughters, Diane Myers-Miller (Jeff) of New Hampshire, Elaine Myers (Charlie) of Wilmington, Karen Cranfill (Steve) of Chapel Hill and Georgia Simonson (David) of Statesville; fifteen grandchildren; two great- grandchildren and a sister, Bonnie Lawrence (Elmer) of Ruffin, N.C.

Memorial services will be held Thursday at New Salem United Methodist Church at 11 :00 a.m. with the Rev. David Gay officiating.

Burial will follow at a later date.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
