

She was born in Iredell County on Dec. 31, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Manzo L. and Elizabeth Rucker
Feimster.
She was twice married first to Lynnwood Ford who preceded her in death and second to Harry Moore who, also, preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother: Frank Caldwell Rucker and a sister: Pearlie Ruth Coleman
Left to cherish her memory is a daughter: Lynda Ford Harper of Statesville a special son-in-law: Lawrence Harper, Sr., of Fairfax,Va., a brother; James Rucker (Patricia) of Statesville, a sister: Joyce McCall (Skip) of Statesville, two grandchildren: Lauren Harper-Leak (Margue) and Lawrence Harper, three great grandsons; Ledaian Harper, Zion Howell and Cayden Leak. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Miss Nan, as she was affectionately called worked for RHA of Statesville as a home manager. Her many affiliations and club associations as well as her love for plants and flowers will be truly missed.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Williams officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
