Oral Lee Neely

He was born January 31, 1944, in Asco, WV, and was the son of the late, Fred C. and Elizabeth Shepherd Neely. Prior to his disability retirement, he worked as an auto body shop technician and painter. He was a man who loved life and enjoyed fishing, working in his flower gardens, and bird watching.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Emanuel David Garris and Vester James Neely; and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lynn Hoover Neely, whom he married on March 28, 1992; a daughter, Deborah Neely (Rick) Bowman of Salisbury; two sons, Chason Lee (special friend, Stacy) Neely of Salisbury and Jason Alan (Jessica) Webb of Statesville; four grandchildren, Morgan Bowman, Kristine N. Redderson, David Rylan Webb, and Shiloh McKenna Webb; two great-grandchildren, Marian and Makayla Redderson; and his special dog, Boo Boo.

Memorial service celebrating Lee’s life will be held at a later date.
