She was born April 11, 1949, in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Mary Eunice Ross. She grew up in the Mills Home Orphanage in Thomasville and was a member of Snow Creek United Methodist Church in Statesville. She was a faithful and devoted homemaker who enjoyed knitting, gardening, making ponds, and cooking.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death on April 7, 2009, by her husband, Frank George Caruso.
She is survived by a son, Charles Carter of Statesville and a grandson, Joseph McDowall.
Funeral service celebrating Patricia's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Snow Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Hassle and the Rev. Gervase Hitch officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2013, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
