Bobby Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, and by his devoted wife of nearly 40 years, Fran Grillo Kelly.
Bobby Sr. is survived by sons, Robert J. Kelly, Jr. and Michael W. Kelly; stepdaughter, Jody Matola; stepson, Albert Letsch; four grandchildren; brother, Stevie W. Kelly; and many cousins.
Bobby Sr. was raised in both in Seymour CT. and in Oxford, CT. He worked as a millwright and also as a hardwood flooring specialist for many years. He loved fast cars, motorcycles; he enjoyed boating and fishing; and was a fan of Motown music. Bobby Sr. also loved making his friends laugh.
