She was born in Iredell County on December 9, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Jenner V. and Martha Beckham Woodward.
She is survived by three nephews; Jeffrey W. Barker of Roaring River, Eric M. Barker of Traphill and Craig C. Barker of Roaring River; and one brother: Jenner Hugh Woodward of Louisville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Nancy W. Barker.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Benham Baptist Church in Elkin with the Rev's. Elmer Barker and Jeff Reaves officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
