

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brandon Michael Reid; her sister, Tara Morrison; her brother, Gregory Lewis Reid; and her aunts, Jo Evelyn Caldwell, and Louise Bradshaw.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Patrick V. Reid (Kyra Reid) of Statesville, N.C., and Christopher A. Reid, of Charlotte, N.C.; her grandchildren, Cordell Reid, Yazmine Reid, and Ariah Bryant; her sister, Paulette Morrison; her brothers, Tony Eugene Reid of Charlotte, and William M. Reid (Sheila A. Reid) of Statesville; her beloved aunt, Karen Morrison; her uncle, Arthur Junior Turner; her nieces, Charity Oglesby, Toneeka Reid, Latoya Reid, Debra Hunter and Charity Morrison; her sister-in-laws, Alfreda McClain, Karen McIntosh, and Willette Bowry (Jason); her brother-in-law, Larry McIntosh (Mary); her special friend, Sharon; and by a host of other beloved friends and family.
In 2007, she graduated from Mitchell Community College with an AAS in Office Systems Technology. She then went on to graduate in 2013, from Strayer University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Wanda was a member of Scott’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was a big fan of old mobster movies and most especially, “I Love Lucy”.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Scott’s Chapel UMC in Statesville, N.C., from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Belmont Cemetery. Pastor Sara Scruggs is officiating
