When I first moved to the Waynesboro area. I was invited to the Waffle Inn in Verona to have breakfast with a few guys - the Romeo Club. (retired old men eating out) There was the Marine Col. the CIA guy and The Master Chief -Arnold Brown. As the baby of the group, I a fire capt. enjoyed listening to the wit and wisdom of these guys, A really entertaining aspect was the seas stories that MC Arnold would tell of his time in the US Navy. I enjoyed his company and will sadly miss further stories he could tell. I also wish I had known the troubles he was facing and could have helped in some way. RIP Master Chief Arnold Brown.

Mr. Brown,
I always enjoyed seeing you and will always remember you and "Sassy", you always would say "My Sassy Girl". You were there when we got her from the pound and she loved you so much!! I will always think of you each time the calla lilies bloom that you gave us. All the stories shared and laughs we had at the Gun Shack. I hope you know you will always be in our hearts and you were a friend to us all. We will forever miss you. Our hearts are heavy and we are very saddened by your passing.
David, if you need anything please let us know, we truly loved your dad. We are praying for your comfort at this difficult time.
Annette & Andy & everyone at The Gun Shack

I've always called him Mr. Brown. He was a dear friend. I'll miss him very much. I loved to drink Mt. Dew and he always made sure he had them at his house. I just saw him on Tuesday and we watched a movie and had a great talk. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you. I miss you and you will always have a special place in my heart.
