Cindy Ann Harris

Cindy Brown Harris, 43, formerly of Staunton passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, CO. Born August 28, 1974 in Staunton, she was the daughter of Larry A. Brown and the late Judy Kershner Brown. Cindy was previously employed with Hollister in Stuarts Draft where she worked for many years. She spent much of her free time with her grandchildren as well as cheering on her beloved NC Tarheels. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. A.L. Brown and maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Mack Kershner. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Carnell Harris; children, Jaylan Harris and Jordan Rosson and husband, Marcus; three grandchildren, Camren, Chanler and Carter Rosson; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 18 W. Frederick St., with Rev. Karen Allamon officiating. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
