Michael was born in Waynesboro, to the late Betty G. Allen and Kenneth L. Allen on April 22nd, 1955. Michael served as a Corrections Officer in Staunton for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing at Lake Moomaw, shooting, lantern collecting and going to yard sales.
Michael is survived by his children, Michelle Hearn (Michael) of Staunton, Daniel Allen (Melissa) of Staunton, Renee Southers (Ed Watson) of Staunton, Crystal Guthrie of Staunton, and Heather Bell (Emerson) of Staunton. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Raven Hughes, Kacey Hearn, Keith Bell, Matthew Bell, Austin Allen, Odie Guthrie, Sierra Southers, Drew Southers, Benjamin Allen and Henry Allen; as well as his great grandchildren, Xander, Rory, Atlas and Oliver. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Allen (Tammy) of Raphine.
