Dear Mickey,

You were an amazing person, full of grace. You always made me feel welcomed in your home. I will always cherish the fun times we shared together, see your smile in every sunset. I shall miss our talks and friendship.

This was my mom's last hair appointment, on March 2, just 3 weeks before she passed. I took her over on my last full visit, and she was very happy with the cut and colour. She did not want to lie down and mess it up ! My little mom is gone.

Always polite and caring, over the years Mickey became an extended part of our family through her many visits to Southern California. You will always be remembered and loved.

Yours was a life well lived.  I'm so grateful that I got to be a part of it.  I will think of you with every spring flower, with every shortbread cookie, every sip of tea.  I will miss your kindness, your laugh and your greeting cards for every occasion.  I hold close the memories of all the fun we had.. . too many good times to try to count.  Wish I could give ya just one more hug.

Our fondest memories of Mickey are when visiting her in her lovely home in the Laurentian woods near Ste Adele. She hosted us with a lovely endearing smile and warmth that made us feel so welcome. Her home and lifestyle were selflessly shared with us and those who had the good fortune to visit. One simple gesture still resides in our hearts, that Mickey enjoyed peanut-buttering the trees for her squirrel friends. So thoughtful, so caring. She was a giving woman with inner strength, and independence that we much admired. Rest in peace, Mickey. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and other friends.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a few hours in Mickey!s company, but spread over 30  years of her visits to Southern California.  Such a wonderful person.  A special treat when she wasn’t here was helping shout “Hi Mickey!” into Peter’s cell phone from mountaintops across Southern California — Williamson, Throop, Baden -Powell.  And so,  once again, “Hi Mickey!”

Mickey, I will miss you every day. Thank you for being my mentor, my second mother, and most of all my best friend. My condolences to all the family. My only regret is, I did not have a chance to visit with you, May God Bless
My Heart Goes With You

My deepest condolence to the family.  You have my deepest sympathy at this time.  Mickey was a quiet neighbor.    A lady who loved working outside.  We spoke respectfully to each other.  When we saw each other, although it wasn't often, she was a delight.  She will be truly missed.
