Paige was born on July 20, 2012 and she attended Belmont Ridge Middle School in Lansdowne, Virginia. She was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and enjoyed playing volleyball, watching “a show” on tv, playing Mario Kart, and listening to music. Her favorite place to be was at the beach. She loved spending time with Bauer, as she loved all animals, but especially dogs. Paige was proud of her eyelashes and curly hair, and she was all about “the aesthetic” and finding the right “fit”, which usually consisted of black leggings, a hoodie, and her Birkenstocks. Everyone knew Paige’s “side-eye” and those who were recipients of it didn’t forget it. Paige was unique, often doing her own thing, on her own terms. She was NOT going to wear a dress to her 8th grade promotion ceremony, she always had 2 hair ties on her wrist, and she consumed a lot of ranch and sour cream. She loved her family and friends fiercely. She gave great hugs when she wanted to, she was sarcastic, and she preferred to smile without showing her teeth for pictures. She loved Legos and lip gloss. Paige was everything anyone could want in a daughter - she was kind, sweet, funny, smart, opinionated, loud, happy, and pretty.
Paige is survived by her mother, Stephanie DiOrio and father, Daniel Wesolowski; stepfather, Jason DiOrio and stepmother, Rachel Sabino; 2 step-sisters who she considered her sisters, Abigail and Kayleigh; grandparents, John and Peggy Kobilarcik, Dave DiOrio; her dog, Bauer; and so many friends and family who loved her and were entertained by her humor and sarcasm. She was preceded in death by her 18 year old pocket beagle, Macie.
An open house-style reception will be held at the Demaine Life Celebration Center of Loudoun County on Tuesday, April 21st from 5-8pm where friends and family will gather to look at photos and share stories & refreshments. All are also welcome to attend a short graveside service at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22nd.
