Candis is survived by her beloved children, Maria (Arnie) Kaplan, Gina (Charles) Sierra, and Alex (Lisa) Piegari. She was also the adoring grandmother to Lauren, Marc, Max, Michael, Cathy, Ryne, Caden, Lucian, Dominik, Jimmy, and Ethan. She will also be missed by her sister Pam (the late Larry) and sister-in-law Linda. Candis will be remembered by countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends she has made over the years.
In her passing she joins her partner, James Payne and brother, Richie Cantavespi.
A memorial service for Candis will take place on April 19th, 2025 at Mount Auburn Funeral Home (4101 S. Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402) from 10 am - 2 pm. The memorial will conclude with a short service at 1:30 pm.
