Carol W. Griffin passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. Carol was born on August 14, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. Loving wife of the late Ronald. Beloved mother of Tamara Griffin, Sue Fernandez and the late Jennifer Griffin. Cherished grandmother of Keith and Katelyn Fernandez.
Carol enjoyed traveling, cruising, spending time with Ronald and with family. Her favorite foods included pizza, Mexican food and really anything with cheese. She was a professional clown for about 15 years. In the late 70's Carol worked at Edward Don & Company as a key punch operator. Later, she became a nurses assistant, and worked at various doctor offices until retirement.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation for Carol that will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral chapel service will occur on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. Burial to follow at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL 60402.
