Chad Matthew Nelson

Never one to sit on the sidelines, Chad found joy in experiencing life at its fullest. Over the years he found interests and made them his passions; from extreme sports, to learning many skilled trades. His passions also include friends, family, music, movies and most of all, being a father.

Chad is survived by his son Myles Nelson of West Dundee.

Nephew Ryland Nolan of Geneva;

Father M. Wesley Nelson of Elgin;

Aunts Shawna (Ramsay) King of Santa Maria, CA, and Kathy (Rovelstad) McNeil of Geneva;

Uncles Todd Ramsay of Elgin, Nick King of Santa Maria, CA, and Ken McNeil of Geneva;

Maternal step-grandmother Ruth Ann Rovelstad of Geneva;

Cousins, Kyle and Matthew McNeil of Geneva and Don Baxman Jr. of Wheaton.

Also survived by an abundance of friends he has made over the years, many of which he was friends with since grade school.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lawrence Rovelstad and Donna Lee (McCall) Ramsay; paternal grandparents Jack and Ellie (Bell) Nelson; aunt Jackie Nelson, uncles Miles Nelson and David Rovelstad and cousin Johnathan McNeil.
