David Sevilla

Visitation will be from 11 AM – 12:30 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Stickney, IL. Services will be at 12:30 PM with his nephew Richard Sevilla of Heritage Baptist Church, Cordova, TN officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

David was born in Los Angeles, CA on December 30, 1933. He married Geraldine on September 27, 1954 in Chicago. He retired from Central Can Company after 49 years of service. He was a member of Oak Park Avenue Baptist Church in Berwyn for over 30 years.

David is preceded in death by his father, Peter.

David is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Geraldine; his son, David Sevilla (Bonnie), daughters: Janet Sevilla (Joseph Schranz), Helen Hinrichsen (Robert), and Linda Gray (Christopher); his grandsons: David J. Sevilla, Randal Hicks (Rose Dunphy), Robert Hinrichsen, Anthony Hinrichsen, Kevin Gray (Kelsi) and Dalton Gray (Jasmine); granddaughters Heather Mummert (Richard), Deanna Sevilla, Jessica Sevilla and Sarah Hinrichsen. He has one great grandchild, Derrick “Alek” Mummert. He is also survived by his brothers: Richard Sevilla and Peter Sevilla; sisters Rebecca Flores, Ruth Rivera and Elizabeth Barnard and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
