Where do I start. Never thought It would come down to this moment. Ms. Jones it what I called her. I met you many years ago through your son Jody and my brother Dom. They grew as brothers and joined us all together as a family. You took good care of my brother when he needed it. And you treated him like your own son. You were  and are  our 2nd mom. You were a kind person,with a heart of gold, and had such a great listening ear, but boy you always had tricks up your sleeves. Ready to pull the next prank. Your smile would brighten a room. Your long red hair would catch eyes. You are and we're such a wonderful person. We shared so many laughs and made so many memories. Memories I will always cherish. I was and am honored to have met a kind soul like yours. I will always love you Ms. Jones..  Rest easy. Until we meet again.

You were a great mother, a great friend, a beautiful person and most likely the best grandma. You will be missed deeply and always in my thoughts. I love you my Joannifer.

No words can express my feelings. Joann there will never be another love bug for me.  I have never met someone with such a kind heart and beautiful soul.  Your memories will forever be cherished. I can never thank you enough for all the great times we shared.  We kept in touch every single day.  I still look at my phone hoping you will call or text. The love bug special pizza will never be the same. Joann no matter where we went you always threw kindness around like it was confetti.  Thank you for accepting me as is and being a true friend. Thank you for never giving up on me.  Thank you for fighting till the very end.  Your loss has left a hole nothing can fill but I will live the rest of my life in memory of you and our amazing friendship. Forever my love bug.

First,  my deepest condolences to Jody,  Nicole,  Joyce and the family. 
It's hard to speak of someone knowing that everything you love and cherish are memories.
Jojo could make you smile when you couldn't do it alone. She could make you laugh when you didn't want to just by laughing herself, we all know that she starts laughing, shrugs up her shoulders and looks your way. Jojo was there to listen to hear not just respond.  She was unselfish regardless of what was happening in her life. Joann was that true,  amazing friend we all want in life.  I miss you terribly my other J!!

Jo and I had sooo many good times at the pizzeria.  There was never a dull moment with us there.  She was an amazing friend; we were there for each other through our darkest moments and for the happiest!  She was so loving and kind.  I have one more guardian angel watching over me now!  Love you Jojo!

I've known Joanne for 17 years. She's like Cheetos other mother. She was the kindest, funniest, down to earth chick. And I loved her. We all did. I think my best memories of her are of her and Cheetos cracking jokes on Jody, getting him angry as always. Her and Cheetos had a special bond. Life won't be the same without Joanne, we will all miss you terribly. I hope you're happy up there with your dad and Billy.

I have so many memories of Joann. We shared lots of laughs and had some tears as well.  One of funniest memories of our times spent together was one night on her front porch. We were all hanging out like we always did and I was laughing so hard at something and I jumped out of my chair,  clapped my hands and hit my head.  She would always mimick me after that.  Which of course brought on more laughter,  at my expense of course. Lol  We took plenty of walks to white hen together with little Jody and baby Nicole in her pink stroller.  Lots of times spent in Fran and Jay's alley watching them play basketball.  Billy and Joann are very special to me.  They will forever hold a special place in my ❤. RIP

Having gone to both schools with Joann, this really is a devastating loss, we are only 48.  I know in my heart that JoJo has many Angels watching over her, I have most of my family at Mount Auburn, and Cicero peeps stick together, my sincere condolences to Joyce, Nicole, and Jody.  Kim S-L
