Joseph Allen Lacey, age 54, of Stickney, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. He was born on September 20th, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, the late Patrick Sr. and Denise [nee Paradis] Lacey.
Joe was raised in Cicero, Illinois, and was known for being an avid sports fan.
He was a beloved brother to Dennis (Vera), Matthew Sr. (Maria), the late Dawn (Ken) Caddell, Martin (Kelly), Lisa (Dennis) Seidler, the late Patrick Jr., Anthony (Gina), and Mary (Robert Kubik). He leaves behind 28 cherished nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews. Joe was also an honorary uncle to many and had cousins by the dozens. He was a wonderful godfather, a friend to countless others, and loved by all.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A morning visitation will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will begin the same day at 11:00 AM. Following the funeral, a committal service will occur at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, 4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
