Lena C. Pena of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was born on February 2, 1930 in Coalcoman, Michoacan, Mexico to her parents Elvira (nee Madrigal) and Heliodoro Cervantes.
Loving wife of the late Neftali Pena. Beloved mother of Victor (the late Emma) Pena, Michael (Patricia) Pena, Elvira (Duane) Stano, Anita Pena, John G. (Susana) Pena and Daniel Pena. Cherished grandmother of Genesis (Jason), Jeffrey (Rachel), Jake, Jeanette (John), Stephen, Madelyn, Gillian, Kristen, Elizabeth, Daniel Andrew and great-grandmother of Nico, Alana, Joyce, Shane, June and Mae. Dear sister of Paula Aguilar, Margarita (the late Rudolfo) Rosales, Carmen (Valentin) Garcia and Ruben (Dora) Cervantes and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Lena will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. Followed by a chapel service at 1:00 PM, at Mount Auburn Funeral Home and burial at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
